We are pleased to offer a wide range of on-site programs and services intended to enrich the lives of our residents and support successful tenancies. Open to residents of all ages, there is no cost to participate thanks to the generosity of our donors and other fundraising efforts. Committed to promoting healthy, happy and quality living, our Resident Services team works to identify residents’ needs and interests to provide helpful and appealing activities and services, and to make connections to appropriate outside resources, as needed, through community collaborations. Our offerings range from after-school youth programming to nurture our young residents and assist working families, to programs and services for older adults and adults with disabilities to support self-sufficiency and independent living.

With the goal of providing knowledge as well as important updates and resources to the older adults in our communities, NCDF strives to offer a variety of enriching educational programs and informational presentations. House Meetings are held at a few of the properties to share in-house updates and as well as resources from within the greater Newton community. Through collaborations with local pharmacies and Newton’s Board of Health, we can offer in-house vaccination clinics for flu and COVID-19. Educational programs like ESL, Short Story Group and Current Events Discussions are offered throughout the month.
